Stockholm, Sweden (Sports Network) - Switzerland won its third straight game
without a loss on Monday at the 2013 World Hockey Championship.
The Swiss, coming off a stunning 3-2 shootout win over Canada on Sunday,
scored three times in the third period to rally for a 5-2 victory over the
Czech Republic on Monday.
Simon Moser scored the tying goal at the 5:47 mark of the third and Simon
Bodenmann snapped the deadlock with 6:38 remaining before Reto Suri sealed it
with an empty-netter.
Switzerland also beat Sweden on Friday and sits atop Group S. The Swiss have
played most of the tough competition in their group and still have games
against Slovenia, Denmark, Norway and Belarus remaining.
Jiri Hudler tallied both goals for the Czechs, who lost to Sweden on Saturday
after beating Belarus in their opener.
In Group H play, Slovakia edged Germany, 3-2.
