New York, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with
Steve Eminger on a new contract.
The 28-year-old defenseman had been an unrestricted free agent, but opted to
re-sign with the Rangers for whom he played 42 games last season. He missed 32
games due to injury, including 20 games from Dec. 20 to Feb. 5 with a
Selected 12th overall by Washington in the 2002 draft, Eminger has registered
19 goals and 77 assists in 453 career games with the Capitals, Flyers,
Lightning, Panthers, Ducks and Rangers.
