Durant's thunder on Wednesday night.
The NBA's scoring leader, however, found his shot just in time to top the 30-
point mark for a ninth straight time.
Durant netted 36 points, Jackson scored 13 of his 27 in the fourth quarter and
the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 111-105, in a battle
between the Western Conference's top two teams.
Jackson put in 11 consecutive Thunder points at one point in the fourth, with
his driving layup staking Oklahoma City to a 94-89 lead with 7:15 left.
Durant had missed four of his first five shots in the final frame before
converting an alley-oop layup for his 29th point to extend the Thunder margin
to 100-94 with 3:11 to play.
A bit later, Durant knocked down a pair of triples in a 51-second span to
finally eclipse the 30-point plateau and make it 108-98 in favor of Oklahoma
