Shanghai, China (Sports Network) - DeAndre Jordan poured in a game-high 18
points to go along with nine rebounds, as the Los Angeles Clippers downed the
Miami Heat, 99-89, on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Jamal Crawford chipped in 15 points off the bench and Blake Griffin recorded a
double-double with 13 points and 10 boards for the Clippers, who earned their
first victory of the preseason.
Chris Paul made his preseason debut for LA and finished with four points and
six assists in the victory.
Rodney Carney led the Heat with 15 points, while LeBron James and Chris Bosh
tallied 11 points apiece for the defending champions.
The Clippers led by 10 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.
They carried a 14-point advantage into the break and led by as many as 20 in
the second half en route to the double-digit victory.
