Harvick prevails at Richmond

Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Kevin Harvick saved his best for last in winning Saturday night's Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Harvick charged from seventh to first after a restart for a green-white- checkered finish. He then beat Clint Bowyer at the finish by 0.343 seconds for his 20th career Sprint Cup Series victory, including his third at Richmond.

Juan Pablo Montoya appeared to be on the way to ending his 94-race winless streak and claiming his first victory on an oval, as he led the way before the caution flag waved in the closing laps for an accident involving Brian Vickers.

Harvick and Montoya were among those who pitted during the caution, while Jeff Burton remained on the track and led the way for the final restart. Montoya restarted in sixth, one spot ahead of Harvick.

Joey Logano finished third, while Montoya ended up fourth for his first top-10 finish in 30 Sprint Cup races. Burton completed the top-five.

After the race, Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch had a heated exchange in the garage are. Busch bumped Stewart out of the way while they were battling for position during the two-lap overtime finish. Stewart wound up finishing 18th, while Busch, who had led laps late in the event, placed ninth.
