Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners re-signed pitcher
Oliver Perez to one-year contract on Saturday.
In 33 relief appearances in 2012, Perez went 1-3 with 2.12 earned run average,
posting the ninth-lowest ERA by an American League reliever with a minimum of

The 31-year-old has also pitched with the San Diego Padres, Pittsburgh Pirates
and the New York Mets over the course of his 10-year career, posting a total
record of 59-72 with a 4.57 ERA.
