RICHMOND HILL-- Warner Robins American Little League ended their run to the Little League World Series on Friday with an 8-7 loss to Northern (Columbus).
WRALL burst on to the scene in the first, putting up three runs to take the lead. Northern answered with two in the bottom of the inning, to trail by one.
That score held until the bottom of the third. Columbus took a 4 to 3 lead with no outs.
In the fourth inning, Noah Lee connected for a solo home run to put Northern up 6 to 4.
Warner Robins continued to fight in the top of the sixth. Jacob Pierce led off with a solo home run to make it 8-6 Columbus. Cameron Jones was right behind him to keep the rally going with another long ball, but that was it for WRALL.
Northern (Columbus) will represent Georgia at the Southeastern Regional in Warner Robins starting on August 2.
