Tiger Woods is 4 strokes back plus under. Georgia's Bubba Watson and Tech's Matt Kuchar both tied at 54 at +7.
Macon's own Russell Henley head a rough outing on Friday with seven bogeys and two double bogeys, finishing at 17 over.
