Georgia's game against LSU brought a top-ten matchup to the classic city, along with ESPN's "College Gameday."

The show gave eager Bulldog fans a chance to be heard.

"This sign is to depict the notion that LSU fans smell a lot like corn dogs," said sign-holder and University of Georgia student, Luke Thompson.

His idea was interesting, but he wasn't alone. Thompson was one of several UGA fans holding corn dog-themed placards.

"Do not say that to their face though," said Thompson. "They may take offense to it and strike you down. It's a known fact."

Feriby McCorkle's message to the world was simple.

"The Tigers eat boogers. I think that it's true," said the young fan, holding a sign her father made.

One request echoed on Myers quad all morning. Before Saturday, Georgia was 3-13 when featured on "College Gameday."

Justin Brown hoisted a sign that read, "Don't you put that evil on me, Lee Corso," referring to a superstition held by Georgia fans in regard to the "Gameday" host's selection history.

"It's just a big curse every time they come and we're gonna lose," said Brown. "So hopefully he won't pick us today and we can win."

Brown's wish came true that morning, and, later that night. Georgia went on to beat LSU 44-41.

The curse is broken, for now. If Georgia sees Lee Corso again this season, Bulldog fans will unite under a familiar cry:

"Don't pick us."
