Central Georgia Tech Cougar basketball is making a name for itself in the area. Women's head coach Fala Bullock has achieved success during her first two years as top cat in the program's three year history.
This week Bullock and the Lady Cougars are spreading the knowledge in her Individual Skill development camp for student athletes, 6-18 years old at the Warner Robins campus. The 4 day experience hopes to strengthen the camper's game of basketball while exposing the kids to CGTC.
"Being a new program and growing in our community, it's really important that we get out", says Bullock. "Having a good season last year (24-7) really helps push our camps to let people know we know what were doing. I think the kids are having a good time and I think we'll see how much when we pass out awards at the end of the week. "
There's still time to join the camp this week. The camp runs through Thursday and begins every morning at 9 until 3:30 in the afternoon. Transportation is available from Macon to Warner Robins and lunch is provided. For more information on the camp contact Coach April Wallace at (478) 757-4363.
