Two Kennesaw State Golfers Named Academic All-Americans

TOWSON, MD -- The College Sorts Information Directors of America announced Thursday that Ben Greene and Peder Lunde Hermansson, both seniors on the Kennesaw State Men's Golf team, have been named to the Academic All-American second team.

The duo helped lead the Owls to a third-place finish in the Atlantic Sun Championship on their way to an at-large berth in the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships.

Both Greene and Hermansson graduated with 4.0 grade-point averages whlie majoring in finance.

"Ben and Peder have been tremendous student-athletes, and I am extremely happy to see them recognized...for their hard work," said Head Coach Jay Moseley.

Hermansson and Greene are the first players in the program's history to be named to the team.
