Wesleyan Volleyball Ends Regular Season With Loss

Mount Berry, GA (School Release)- Wesleyan College volleyball completed its regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon with losses to Berry College and Brenau University at the Southern Hospitality Invitational.

Match 3: Wesleyan vs. Berry
Berry 3, Wesleyan 0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-6)
Berry's Meredith Hopper recorded a match-best 13 kills on 17 swings for the Vikings (23-5). McKenzie Bragg had 5 kills for the Pioneers, while Hannah Finch recorded 8 assists (2-24).

Match 2: Wesleyan vs. Brenau
Brenau 3, Wesleyan 0 (25-16, 25 -16, 25-16)
Brenau (16-10) recorded 42 kills for the match to Wesleyan's (2-25) 16. McKenzie Bragg recorded 11 of Wesleyan's 16 kills, while Melissa Thornton equaled that number for Brenau.

The Pioneers will play in the first round of the Great South Athletic Conference Championship on Friday, November 2 at 4:30pm. The tournament will be hosted by Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA.
