ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith says his ailing
left knee is feeling better, and he's not ruling out being able to
play against the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the playoffs.
Smith says he's still quite sore because of a strained tendon,
but he's always had a high tolerance for pain. He'll know more
after the morning shootaround before Friday night's game in Boston. The Hawks will be in a dire predicament if Smith can't go. The team is already missing two other big men, centers Al Hohulia revealed details a bout his injured left foot for the
first time Thursday. He says there's a chipped bone, with doctors
putting the normal recovery time at four to six weeks. He was
injured three weeks ago.
