The voting for the MLB All-Star Game is officially over, and Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has been voted onto the roster.
Fans voted online, on Twitter, and with text messages to help Freeman edge out red-hot rookie Yasiel Puig of the Dodgers.
Freeman received a record 19.6 million votes.
The Braves player swept every county in Georgia, including 98.8% of the vote from Bibb County.
He joins closer Craig Kimbrel as the only Atlanta players selected for the team.
The game is Tuesday night at Citi Field in New York.
