KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - Police in metro Atlanta have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of a young woman that authorities say was motivated by road rage.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/167hSK9 ) 21-year-old Kim Kilgore died Friday afternoon hours after she was shot inside the gates of the Shiloh Green Apartments near Kennesaw.
Police have charged 22-year-old Lindsey Sparkles Lashayla with murder. It was unknown Saturday if she had an attorney.
Cobb County police spokesman Mike Bowman says a "road rage incident" between people in two vehicles led to a fight at the apartment complex in which Kilgore was shot. Police have not said specifically what started the argument.
Friends say Kilgore was a student at Kennesaw State University and worked at a country store in Powder Springs.
