CHAMBLEE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a fire that tore through a suburban Atlanta apartment complex has displaced 12 children and 23 adults.
DeKalb County fire officials told WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1fAorOG ) four units were destroyed by a fire at the Villas of Embry Hills in Chamblee, which is about 12 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
Fire officials say they couldn't find a hydrant at the complex and had to stretch nearly 1,000 feet of hose to the nearest one on Chamblee-Tucker Road.
Authorities are unsure of what caused the fire and the American Red Cross is helping those who were displaced.
