Paris Jackson, 15, has been in a treatment facility since June 5 after a suicide attempt. And while Randy Jackson, Michael's little brother, recently voiced concern about the teen being in the center "too long," Paris' grandmother, Katharine Jackson, 83, tells Hello! that all is going well.
"She is in a good place, getting the help she needs," says the Jackson family matriarch, who shares legal guardianship of Paris and her brothers, Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11, with her grandson T.J.
"She is doing much better," added Katharine, who will be in Gary, Ind., on Thursday for a charity tribute concert marking what would have been Michael Jackson's 55th birthday.
"The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I wanted is for these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said, 'I want to go and see daddy; I don't want to be without him.' "
