Atlanta-based actor Daryl "Chill" Mitchell acted in the movie "House Party," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "10 Things I Hate About You," and several other TV shows and films before a motorcycle accident landed him permanently in a wheelchair in 2001.

"I'd been riding since I was 10," Mitchell told a crowd of Middle Georgia State College students Tuesday Night.

The schools' Student Life and Multicultural Affairs organizations invited Mitchell to tell his story, share words of inspiration, but also give insight into life with a disability.

"I'm still getting used to it," he said of the wheelchair.

The accident didn't end his career. Mitchell went on to play Eli on the show Ed, and also appeared in Disney's "The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody" and the show "the Game."

"Either you roll or fold up. I refuse to fold so I'm rolling," he said.

He used laughter, video, and even some hip hop rhymes to drive that point home for MGSC students.

"It was amazing to me how he still pursued everything he had going on even though he had that one huge obstacle," said Canjavious Phillips, a sophomore studying secondary education.

Mitchell says he continues to strive for greatness. He's working on a play in New York called "The Men." It's set in a rehab facility. He's also working on a book entitled "Roll or Fold."
