BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WXIA) -- Four Georgia men caught a monster alligator that could be the largest in Georgia since records have been kept.
Jim Overman has a Georgia alligator license, and killed the reptile with a bow. Gary Braswell, Alex Harrell, and Dr. Daniel White assisted him.
The gator was spotted in a tributary off Lake Seminole while the men were scouting for ducks. They searched for the gator for three hours, before Overman found and shot him with the bow.
The 13-foot, 10-inch gator weighed in at 620 pounds.
