The government shut down isn't the only thing causing problems. The health insurance marketplace is facing trouble too.
Almost a week after enrollment opened for the health insurance marketplace at www.healthcare.gov, technical problems continue to frustrate many Central Georgians who can't get through to see potential health insurance plans.
13WMAZ has been testing the website several times a day since last week to keep tabs on things for viewers at home.
On Monday, after a week of trying, we were finally able to create an account. However, we were unable to log in using that account, which means we were unable to compare any potential plans and costs.
Many viewers have reached out to complain about similar problems.
One woman did not want to speak to us on-camera. She said she's been trying since open enrollment started Tuesday.
Since then, she says she's spent almost 75 hours trying to log in and browse health plans, but she has still not been successful.
The Obama administration took the website down during its off-peak hours this weekend to find the bugs.
