Tropical Storm Dorian remains rather disorganized in the central Atlantic.  Sustained winds are still 50 mph, and the storm continues moving to the west-northwest at 21 mph.  A turn towards the west and an increase in forward speed is expected in the next several days.

The storm may slowly weaken over the next few days as it continues moving through drier air and encounters more wind shear.  Dorian will approach the eastern Caribbean early next week.

Dorian is still about 2,700 miles southeast of Macon and poses no imminent threat to land.  The Eyewitness Weather Team will continue to monitor the progress of the storm.  Any potential impacts from this storm in Georgia are still at least a week away.  It's too early to say (with any certainty) exactly what those impacts might be.
