Demolition crews are creating space for a new restaurant in Macon.
The Georgia Environmental Group began tearing down the former "El Azteca" restaurant on Tom Hill Senior Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
They're making way for a Buffalo Wild Wings.
President of the demolition company, Casey Bullington, says his crew will sort through the debris and haul it to a landfill.
Other materials, such as copper and metal, will go to a recycling facility.
Bullington says the new restaurant will be built by the end of this year.
"I think it's good for the area. It brings a little diversity to the area when it comes to restaurants because on this side of town, we're somewhat limited unless you go to the new mall. So, I think it's a great thing," said Bullington.
The demolition is expected to continue for up to eight days.
