The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal accident on I-75 north last night.
Christopher Vesely, a 42-year-old Conyers man, was killed in a three-vehicle accident Tuesday night around 11 p.m., according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
He was driving on I-75 North when he lost control of his Lincoln Town Car and veered two lanes over. As he veered, he was hit by a tractor trailer from Summerville, Ga.
The towncar then smacked into the median and was then hit by a second tractor trailer from Lake Orion, Mich.
Vesely and his car were then pinned between the two trucks and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was wearing his seatbelt.
The tractor trailer drivers did not have reported injuries.
Deputies say that the roads were wet from recent rain, but it was not raining at the time of the accident.
The accident happened around mile marker 182 just north of Rumble Road and blocked the highway for about four hours.
Vesely's body was sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta.
