38 SPECIAL headlines the Cherry Blossom Festival 2013 Street Party on March 23.

Joining 38 SPECIAL will be the band The Dirty Guv'nahs, the Atlanta Funk Society and The Wild Feathers.

The Wild Feathers will open for the other three bands.

The Street Party will take place in front of Terminal Station in downtown Macon on March 23. Tickets go on sale February 26, through Mercer Ticket Sales at the Grand Opera House.

You can visit www.cherryblossom.com for more information about the festival and the concert.

38 SPECIAL has many well-known songs, spanning decades, like "Hold on Loosely" (link goes to a Youtube video).

We also made a playlist including some of the top tracks of 38 SPECIAL and The Dirty Guv'nahs. Atlanta Funk Society and The Wild Feathers were not available on Spotify.

Here is the full release from the International Cherry Blossom Festival:

Macon, Georgia's International Cherry Blossom Festival is proud to welcome multi-platinum selling artist 38 SPECIAL back to the "Birthplace of Southern Rock" as the headlining act for the 2013 Street Party - March, 23rd. Best known for their #1 hit singles - including "Hold on Loosely", "Caught Up in You", "If I'd Been the
One", and many more - the group has sold over 20 million records to date. Their most recent release, Live From Texas, perfectly captures the sound fans have grown to love since 1974. In October of 2012, the band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, alongside Sugarland and many more.

Main support for 38 SPECIAL will come from rising rock act THE DIRTY GUV'NAHS, a Knoxville-based
group whose critical success following the 2012 release of Under These Southern Skies has propelled them to sold out shows around the country. Since 2010, The Guvs have shared the stage with Zac Brown Band, Grace Potter, Easton Corbin, and many more - including an appearance at the 2012 Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Also joining the ranks of the Street Party lineup will be the ATLANTA FUNK SOCIETY, whose '70s and '80s inspired brass grooves are responsible for parties around the country, as well as an opening performance from THE WILD FEATHERS, a down-home rock act who've spent time of the road with the legendary Paul Simon.

"The Street Party is the signature musical event of our fantastic ten day festival. This year's lineup - 38 SPECIAL, plus three exciting support groups - offers our great city another opportunity to celebrate at the Pinkest Party on Earth", says Cherry Blossom Festival President/CEO Jake Ferro. "2013 marks an important transitional year for this event. As we move to a single-stage format, we are excited to explore new programming opportunities and we feel this lineup has a little bit of everything for fans of live music", says Program Coordinator Sean Pritchard. "We plan to continue to improve on this event and expand the Festival's tradition of bringing high quality entertainment to the streets of Downtown Macon".

The Street Party will take place directly in front of the Terminal Station in Cherry Street Plaza on Saturday, March 23rd, as part of the 31st annual Cherry Blossom Festival - scheduled for March 15th - 24th. Tickets will be available for advance purchase on February 26th through the Festival's Official Ticketing Service, Mercer Ticket Sales at the Grand Opera House.
