The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has posted a Wind Advisory for all of North and Central Georgia from midnight late Thursday to 7 p.m. Friday. Expect northwest winds sustained at 20 to 25 mph, with occasional gusts to 40 mph.
Friday's winds will bring much cooler temperatures. Friday will begin with lows in the mid 30s with a wind chill in the 20s. Despite full sunshine, highs on Friday will top out in the lower 50s.
Lows on Saturday morning will reach the mid-to-upper 20s.
Winds will gradually subside on Saturday.
