The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking for a missing Crawford County man that they say could be dead.
Special Agent in Charge Gary Rothwell with the GBI's Perry office says a friend reported 39-year-old Daryl James Oxford missing on Friday.
Oxford, a Gray native, was last seen April 9 at a home on Pottery Road in Crawford County.
Rothwell says investigators found physical evidence that suggested Oxford is dead, but no remains have been found.
He says they believe the remains are somewhere in Central Georgia.
Right now, Rothwell says, investigators are running DNA tests on the evidence.
If you have any information on the case, you can call the GBI at 1-800-597-TIPS.
