Just before 9 p.m. Sunday night, an 18-year-old Macon man was shot as he left Family Foods, a convenience store at 2793 Montpelier Avenue.
Taubius Mullins told police he heard several gunshots and then realized he'd been struck in the right leg. He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
The store owner told police he didn't see anything but according to the police report, the store had several bullet holes across its front. A witness said the moonroof of his 2000 Toyota Camry was also struck.
