Hope Clark was introduced as GCSU's third women's soccer coach.
After their third straight 10-win season, the Georgia College and State University women's soccer team looks to continue their success with a new head coach.
Hope Clark was introduced as the third women's soccer coach in GCSU history, replacing Juan Pablo Favero. Clark spent the last three years at Auburn University Montgomery, leading the Lady Senators to two berths in the NAIA national tournament.
"As beautiful as this place is, with the great education standards that we have, I think it's going to be a very easy sell," Clark said.
A Virginia Tech alumna, Clark has previously coached in Georgia in the youth and high school ranks, and knows the kind of talent in the Bobcats' backyard.
"I've been a part of the Georgia soccer community and they've supported me, even in my previous position in another state. Half my recruits were from Georgia, so I realize the amount of talent we're producing here." Clark said.
The Lady 'Cats open the year August 17th at Kennesaw State.
