Here are the closings and cancellations for this weekend due to the winter storm:
All Macon State campuses will close for the day Saturday and Sunday, according to a news release.
The Flag City School of Dance has canceled classes for Saturday.
Central Georgia Technical College closed until Monday.
The Sylvan Learning Centers in Macon and Warner Robins are closed Saturday for all classes and SAT-prep classes.
All Macon-Bibb County Public Library branches are closed Saturday.
The L.W. Benton Big Auction Company is closed Saturday.
Macon Iron will also be closed Saturday. That's according to Henry Koplin with the company.
The Macon Chapter of the American Sewing Guild Community Sew In for Operation Care Package is cancelled due the icy road conditions.
In Houston County, any extracurricular activities, such as games, band activities and field trips, scheduled before 2 p.m., Saturday, are canceled.
The CB&T bank in Warner Robins, Perry, Fort Valley and Byron will be closed Saturday.
Fort Valley State University Warner Robins Campus classes are cancelled Saturday. They will reopen Monday.
Also in Houston County, the 31st Annual Young Farmer Market Hog Show scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday will begin at 2 p.m. The show is being held at the Georgia National Fairground and Agricenter in the Swine Barn.
The GMEA Honor Band gathering at Warner Robins High School, featuring student musicians from 16 counties, has been canceled, according to organizer Clint Raburn. It was scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
Jones County Head Start will be closed on Monday as well.
Middle Georgia College's Saturday classes at the Dublin campus have been canceled.
Peach Public Libraries are be closed.
The Washington County Service Center, and Oconee Community Service Board in Sandersville and Milledgeville are closed as well.
In Macon, the Museum of Arts and Sciences will open at 1 p.m. on Saturday. That's according to Jim Greenhouse with the museum.
