Warner Robins Animal Control is aware of a dog issue in Warner Robins after the dog garnered national attention on Facebook.
Warner Robins Police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh told us by email that Animal Control is "aware of the situation" and they plan to cite the dog owner for a "restraint violation."
Pugh also noted that the owner is in the process of "building a pen for the dog."
13WMAZ received several phone calls and emails about a pregnant dog being chained up at a Warner Robins address, including two phone calls from Illinois.
A Warner Robins ordinance states pet owners are not allowed to chain their pets outside.
