Little patients at the Children's hospital got a head start on Halloween.
They hosted a special parade for about 35 children.
Nearly 40 volunteers came dressed in costume and ready to pass out candy.
The trick-or-treat parade started at 2 p.m Thursday.
It was a family affair. Amia Washington made sure her mother had a chance to go trick-or-treating with her in full costume.
"My daughter made this for me today in the playroom. I am Planet 51. So I guess I'm 'Alien Brandy.' So we had to work with what we had. We didn't have costumes, so she just made this for me," said Brandy Harris.
