It was the first day of Georgia National Fair down in Perry.
This year's theme: "There's Magic in the Fair."
Gates opened at 3 p.m. and closed seven hours later.
There are more than 67 rides and 100 vendors to enjoy.
This year, on October 7th and 8th, all servicemen - active and retired - can come free of charge, along with children 10 and under.
Savannah Clanton came to the fair to be transformed into a princess. It's something she does every year.
But that's not the only thing she comes to the fair for.
"Theres rides and food and drinks. And you get to feed the camel," she says.
