Warner Robins' K9 unit is more than just bark.

The dogs at the city's police department are regarded with the same respect as their handlers.

Ego, Ollie, and Rasty make up the unit of the K9 division at the Warner Robins police department.

Today, the police dogs were honored during an official badge ceremony at the new police station on Armed Forces Boulevard.

The Warner Robins Police Department's K9 program has come a long way. In April 1995, the program began and consisted of a single handler and a single purpose canine.

Now, each German Shepherd mix is capable of patrolling, narcotics detection, and tracking.
