The City of Perry is slowly turning yellow in preparation for the 25th annual Dogwood Festival.
This year the festival will host a hot air balloon rally, and to get into the spirit of things, downtown businesses are taking part in a decorating contest.
Signs and bright wreaths lined Carol Street, and the shop City Flair even decorated each of their windows.
"We decorated our windows and our tables inside the store to show our support for the Dogwood Festival and to get people excited about everything that's coming," explained City Flair and the Coffee Cup Manager, Ashley Gurley.
The 25th annual Dogwood Festival will be the weekend of April 13th and 14th. For more information on Dogwood events visit the Perry Chamber of Commerce's website.
