US Attorney General Eric Holder spent several hours in Macon Wednesday, including a meeting with the top federal prosecutor here.
His spokeswoman, Adora Andy, said Holder met with U.S. Attorney Michael Moore at his offices on Mulberry Street, then left town in early afternoon.
She said it was a routine visit, one of many that Holder makes to federal prosecutors around the country. She would not disclose what they discussed.
Moore's office did not return our phone call.
Andy said Holder left town for Savannah Wednesday afternoon and was scheduled to speak at Clark University in Atlanta Thursday.
