Late Thursday night, high winds knocked out power for 580 households, most of them--about 500--were in Milledgeville.

That's according to a spokesperson for Georgia Power.

As of 9 a.m. Friday, power has been restored to all but eight households.

Crews are currently working to restore electricity to all customers.

Georgia Power says the outages are related to weather conditions, specifically high winds.
