A Macon woman accused of mishandling more than 1,200 mammograms could be headed for trial next April.
Rachel Rapraeger appeared in Houston County Superior Court this morning to plead not guilty -- again -- to criminal charges.
The Perry Hospital lab technician, accused of notifying more than 1,200 women that their mammograms came back clean, even though a doctor never reviewed them.
She faced 10 counts of reckless conduct and 10 counts of computer fraud, because she handled test results for 10 women who actually had breast cancer.
A Houston County grand jury indicted her for the second time this year, because her lawyer, Floyd Buford, asked for more specifics on the charges.
Today, Judge Katherine Lumsden said her trial could happen sometime next April. No actual date was set.
