Senator Saxby Chambliss said Friday that he expects no major changes in the stand-off between the White House and Congress in the way they work now that President Obama has been reelected.

Georgia's senior U.S. Senator told 13WMAZ that the key to any Obama success will be his humility.

"I don't see there being any major changes in the way the White House and the Congess work together. The key however, this president has four more years and those four years will determine his legacy," Chambliss said.

In the phone interview, Chambliss chuckled about news reports that a decline in the stock markets since Tuesday are somehow connected to the European crisis.

The senator said, "Kind of interesting that some of the media outlets are reporting that the markets steep decline had nothing to do with the reelection of Obama and his policies, that it had a lot more to do with the European situation. That's baloney."

Senator Chambliss has been one of the bi-partisan "Gang of Six" that have been working for at least two years on a compromise to the sequestration issue and now the so-called "fiscal cliff".
