Thursday night's high winds leveled a 100-year-old church building.

It's the former Kramer United Methodist Church, on Kramer Church Road near Rochelle.

The building was constructed in 1911, but not used as a church since 1988.

Owner James Lee said he used it for storage.

According to Captain Cody Beecher with the Rochelle Police Department, damage has ranged from trees down on side roads to damages to houses and vehicles.

High winds knocked over a gas pump at the Marathon station on Main Street. (see video)

"One man had a tree fall on his truck at the Morning Side Cemetery," Beecher said.

Beecher said he saw houses affected by the storm on Grady Street as well as Railroad Avenue.
