FITZGERALD, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a factory in south Georgia is on fire after an explosion.
Witnesses report seeing thick, black smoke five miles from the blaze on the east side of Fitzgerald, about 60 miles east of Albany.
WALB-TV reports that the explosion occurred Thursday at Suncoast Bedding.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
The company's website states that the plant produces pine shavings to make animal bedding.
