AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Richmond County sheriff's officials say two women jumped from a second-floor window after a burglar broke into their home.
The Augusta Chronicle reports the women awoke to the sound of breaking glass Monday and a man opened the door to their bedroom. When the suspect closed the door, the women jumped from the window and ran for help.
When police arrived, the burglar jumped from the same window and fled the scene.
