ATLANTA (AP) - Emory University in Atlanta is set to host a conference on Japanese Feminism.
The school says Japanese studies scholars from around the world will gather at Emory April 19-20 for a conference titled "Sex, Gender and Society: Rethinking Modern Japanese Feminisms."
The event agenda includes presentations by a range of experts conducting innovative research on the diversity and evolution of Japanese feminist thought and activism. It will include panels on sexuality, motherhood, education and employment.
The event is free and open to the public, but participants are asked to register online.
