DUNWOODY, Ga. (AP) - The competition for parking spaces in suburban Atlanta got out of hand this weekend.
Police say an elderly man was saving a spot for his wife Saturday at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody when another driver tried to take it. The man didn't move, and the driver of the car hit him and left. Police say the man wasn't seriously injured.
On Friday afternoon, two drivers had their eyes on the same spot at the mall. A 22-year-old woman told WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/Zgk28M ) that she got there first and pulled into the spot. The other driver started honking, but the 22-year-old woman went inside the mall. She returned to find three of her tires slashed.
Police said they are using surveillance footage to find the drivers from both incidents.
