SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (WXIA) -- Three adults were found dead from gunshot wounds in a Sandy Springs home at around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Sandy Springs Police Capt. Steve Rose said the bodies were found by a coworker of one of the victims inside a home on Brandon Ridge Drive.
The coworker went to the home out of concern when one of the victims did not show up for work, Rose said.
The victims have since been identified as 85-year-old Edith Renner, 49-year-old Suzanne Renner and 45-year-old Charles Renner IV.
Rose said a pistol was found near Charles Renner's body, leading investigators to believe the shooting was most likely a murder/suicide.
Police are still waiting for the Medical Examiner's report to help them determine what happened. The relationship among the three victims has not yet been established.
