ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say they're investigating the gunpoint robbery of a Georgia State University student near the downtown Atlanta campus.
The student told Georgia State police that he was approached by a man on Auburn Avenue under the I-75/85 bridge around 3:15 p.m. Friday.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the student said the suspect pointed what appeared to be a gun in his back and demanded his wallet.
The suspect was described as being in his early 20s, about six feet tall with a slender build and wearing a black hooded shirt and black track pants.
