If you are looking to vote in November's election, make sure to register by today.
Chairman of the Macon-Bibb Board of Elections, Steve Allen, says the process only requires filling out an application.
"It's a very simple application. You fill it out and it's self-addressed. The postmark must be by (October 9th). As long as you get it post-marked by (then) you will be registered to vote in the November 6th election," he explained.
Allen says there are several ways to submit the application. The most popular way is to stop by a local board of elections office. Potential voters may also register at any public library, or school. The application is also available on the Georgia Secretary of State's website.
