Two Springdale Elementary parents brought 300 petitions to the Bibb County school board Thursday.
They said they want the board to stop using a district-wide average to determine class sizes.
Instead, the parents are urging board members to consider each school's numbers separately. This, they say, would reduce uneven class sizes throughout the school system.
Board president Wanda West asked the two parents to meet with district administrators to discuss their concerns further.
