Warner Robins Middle School will resume classes on Tuesday, March 12. That's according to Beth McLaughlin with the Houston County School System.
Students did not attend class on Monday after a natural gas leak was found in the paking lot over the weekend.
Principal Brett Wallace notified parents Monday afternoon that school would be back in session on Tuesday.
"Through the outstanding efforts of our maintenance department and the City of Warner Robins utilities department, our school will indeed be open as usual on Tuesday," said Wallace.
He added that there is no detection of leaking natural gas in or around the school. He also thanked parents for their understanding and quick action of making alternate plans for their children for Monday.
