New unemployment numbers show a strengthening job market across the country, and in Georgia.
But for one segment of the population, the job market looks grim.
Nationwide, the unemployment rate for teenagers sits at 24 percent -- and it's even worse in Georgia, sitting at a staggering 33 percent.
Other states with incredibly high teen unemployment include California, Arkansas, Illinois and South Carolina.
Analysts blame this high number on more adults having to compete for the jobs teens would normally take because of the recession.
