Chad McDonell's Pumpkin Soup

1/2 pumpkin cut into cubes
1qt chicken broth
1T cinnamon
1T nutmeg
1T allspice
2T sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
2T confectionary sugar
1tsp cinnamon
Pumpkin seeds

Method of Preparation:
Place all the cubes of pumpkin into a stockpot and chicken broth with all the seasonings and bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Add more chicken broth if needed. After pumpkin is soft transfer to a blender. Let the soup cool down first about 20 minutes before blending. Put the puree back into the stockpot and check for seasoning. Put soup into soup bowls. Wisk together heavy cream, powder sugar, cinnamon into a mixing bowl and whip for 10 minutes or until stiff peaks. Place a dollop of the cinnamon cream on top of soup and garnish with pumpkin seeds.
